TOM PAINE BUILDING, Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Renovations of a four story, fire damaged, mixed-use, Victorian structure in downtown Lancaster to provide office and retail space. Renovation involved removal of multiple layers of more recent framing and finishes to reveal original architectural features, including; a series of skylights or lanterns, original pressed tin ceiling, heavy timber structural elements and brick walls. Construction was completed in the summer of 1996.
