THREE CENTER SQUARE, Maytown, Pennsylvania

This Project included renovations and additions to a collection of historical structures on the square of Maytown, Pennsylvania. Renovations included the conversion of a three story Italianate structure, which was altered many times and was most recently used as a bed and breakfast inn. This building was completely gutted and renovated into residential units; the original storefront was converted to a community room and meeting space. A three-story addition was constructed at the rear of this structure to provide for a new elevator, stair tower and additional housing units. The project also included the renovation of several early residential buildings, one building of log construction. These buildings were converted to single-family houses. Several new single-family units were also constructed along the street frontage, forming a secluded courtyard space between the buildings.
