POOK AND POOK, Downingtown, Pennsylvania:

This project included significant renovations to Chester County, PA’s first Post Office, which is now the home of Pook & Pook Auctions. A substantial new addition was constructed adjacent to the original building to accommodate large gatherings and the massing and composition of the new addition was based on vernacular farm structures of the area. The new hall was attached to the original building with a lighter, largely glass connecting piece.
