PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN, Lancaster, Pennsylvania This project was undertaken to provide a new image and a clear identity for the school. The pedestrian level of the building was re-sheathed in a clear metal skin and glass to open the gallery space up to the street. The facade was punctuated with sun screens and an entry canopy to give more dimension and strong shadow lines during the daytime hours, and then bathed with colorful and playful lights for nighttime displays.
